Two souls have met along life’s path,
a blessing each has felt.
Entwined in love we can’t deny,
our hand in life is dealt.
Together now our lives are joined,
our souls they now are free.
To feel the joy life’s given us,
and love it’s mystery.
No longer locked inside ourselves,
we’ve found the keys this day.
Unlocked forever that stout door,
flung open all the way.
With love and care, each one to share,
we’ll look to see the day,
When all our dreams and wishes too,
have come to us to stay.
Our love will grow upon this seed,
with roots gone deep within.
Fed and nourished by our hearts,
our souls could not be dim.
Well down the path for years to come,
we’ll travel hand in hand.
Our steps are light upon the trail,
come, walk with me my friend.
