I bear within me a fragment of the sun
A shining secret center that is also present in everyone
Darkness cannot cover it, Oppression cannot hide it
It is the light of the spirit that no one can shun.
During those times when the night may seem so powerful
When the forces of death and nothingness seem indomitable
The sun within me shines unbeatable
like hope that knows no death this light is unconquerable.
And when my heart and my soul can no longer take it
I look to the stars for all my dreams to make it
To the sun where I belong my old spirit will have to return
My original self the star of my birth with endless shining i burn.
