In life there are many doctrines ancient and true
They are all so simple and yet so hard to do
It is so easy to say do good and avoid doing bad
And yet when you look at the world nobody follows its sad
We all know that love will show us all the way
But love is nowhere to be found in this day
You will see sex, you will see glamour and glitter
Your heart will ache because love is lost and bitter.
Yet life is really such that we have to enjoy the adventure
We are here to make mistakes and so learn lessons clear and pure
Until we return to our origin we have to make this journey this venture
Of finally remembering our original nature
