The rains have come in the heat of summer
I was wondering what has happened to the weather
The cycles of nature have all but gone wrong
The seasons have begun where they do not belong
The living creatures dependent on nature’s fluctuations
Have all but died in unstoppable extinctions
The ice have melted so polar bears have no where to rest
They drown in the oceans while trying to swim their best.
The majestic forests have all but died,
The flowers and butterflies lost in the tide
And all that’s connected had the ecosystems thwarted
Chaos and confusion as a pandemic disease and death started
Oh humanity when will we ever learn
That everything is connected we must now discern
That what we do to nature is what we do to our own humanity
That Mother Nature’s backlash comes from the hand of our own dark entity
