Alone in the universe i search for you,
Where have you gone when i needed you,
You who have breathed life into my poetry
A gush of fresh wind beyond life’s tapestry.
You who have uplifted my soul to the highest heavens,
As I fly to the stars that my wishes have taken
You who exploded my being from within
and brought the bright sun inside my skin
You who taught me the meaning of life in dying
To shine each moment with love and caring
Alone i search for you in the edge of the silver moon
In every star and rainbow, morning, night and noon
An eternal sadness now envelops me,
In dark and closed eyes your image i see,
You left my heart in eternal longing,
With every breath and beat my heart is shouting.
I walk in this darkness waiting for dawn to break,
Yet this may be the night where i will never wake.
