The old world is coming to a close
And a new world is dawning
Now we shall see how the wind blows
The currents rush from our hearts’ knowing.
The pain will all come to pass
And with it peace will come springing
All those who hope ’til the last,
Will find their dreams a-soaring.
The age of affluence alongside poverty has already peaked
It will now gently descend ’til its nothing.
In its place will rise a new age for all the meek
Justice will flourish from the depths of our being.
The Age of violence and inequality will start to wane
The rich and the mighty will be put to shame
All who have wallowed in gold at the expense of another’s misery
Will have to relinquish the old and mistaken glory.
Come and welcome the rising of the New Age,
The new day’s a-dawning!
