The earth has turned again in a full circle around the sun ushering a New Year for all inhabitants of the Earth- human and animal and plant, seen and the unseen, sentient, and inorganic systems.
In space-time this brings us again into the continuing unfolding of our history and the flowering of what it means to be human. The year brings with it all the magic and the possibilities, all the joys and pains, all the intricate experience of being alive.
There are challenges that must be faced and circumstances that must be overcome and through it all we must use wisely our power of choice. Choose therefore life over death, justice over inequality, love over hatred, good over evil and light over darkness and fight for all these things as if it is already our last battle and our last stance before death overtakes…then we will live a life fully lived and really make the world a better place
