A world we once knew-
divided and lustful, our hatred grew.
Carnage, oppression; it didn’t stop there.
Mother Nature was suffering,
Human beings still did not care.
Oceans decorated in plastic
A sea of human greed; so drastic!
Overconsumption and under-appreciation
The universe claimed, “It’s time for a change!”, as an act of desperation.
2019 brought a submicroscopic parasite.
Replicating inside of a human cell,
it would cause quite a fright.
Denial, egocentricity, and procrastination
We as America, should have taken action
without hesitation.
Behold, to our unfortunate surprise we are not immune!
To these things impacting the world,
we should have been in tune.
Idiocracy prevails, despite 100,000 lost.
With this way of thinking, all options the human race will exhaust.
Change is something that we need
People with this mentality, they will lead
Love, light, and acceptance…
For those of a different frequency,
we know this is our transcendence.
The world we once knew
missed by some, but we outgrew.
Now unity, clean air, and nature thriving…
More than a notion, but a tangible reality
This new world, it is arriving!
Children held close by those they love.
The hatred and greed; we rise above.
Politics and wealth are worthless
when your heart is without a beat
This new way of thinking, it is our purpose.
