In a recent study of Migraines published in the scientific journal ‘Neurology’ on October 24 2006, it was found that nearly 60% of all children and adolescents who suffered from migraines either completely recovered from this tendency within 10 years or were prone to far less severe headaches. However, the children who had a parent or a sibling who also suffered from migraines were included in the group that still suffered from migraine after ten years. It was found that this group is seven times more likely to have migraines after ten years than those without hereditary migraine in the family.
