I have just watched The United States Versus John Lennon and i cant help but be amazed at the man. He was one hell of an artist who lived true to his principles and who really cared about life. He was an advanced soul daring to be different when all the people would have wanted to tow the line. He braved harassments of the CIA and the FBI and lived courageous and deviant till the end. He was such a loving husband and father as he embraced the whole world for his own. He is an angel for life when the whole government wants death and war. Just like the prophets, nobody wants to listen to him at the beginning. Just like the saints, he was considered by society as insane. Just like the martyrs, he was silenced for his message of love and peace. Now, he is just like the immortals--forever remembered for his art, his compassion, his greatness. I am at a loss with words. I just want to echo his song, "All we are saying is give peace a chance":
