There is a new philosophy which catches the current desire of the world today. With global warming, global starvation, global wars, etc, we need to have a philosophy that would change the world on a planetary scale. This is holism. If you can intuit and capture William Blake's message in his poem Auguries of Innocence, then you are receptive to holism and new world. The poem goes like this,

"Too see the heaven in a wild flower and the universe in a grain of sand. Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour." What is the difference between holism and wholism?

Wholism means the integration of the parts into the dynamics of the whole. Holism is much more encompassing. It means that all is in all--from the infinitely small to the infinitely large. To illustrate, look at yourself in the mirror. Break the mirror into a hundred pieces. You can still see yourself in the smallest fragment as well as in the largest piece. Another illustration is the atom. Destroy the smallest atom and you will get nuclear power strong enough to destroy the largest mass.
