Ill go first.
Corona-Pitbull- Bought her from a drug addict for $25 when she was 4 weeks old. Shes now 11 years old and going strong.
My Kitten (Thats his name)- Long haired domestic cat- Got him from a barn. The lady was giving them away at around 2-3 weeks. I had to bottle feed him. Hes almost 2 now. 🙂
Dream catcher- Appaloosa- Rescued from someone that couldn't feed her anymore. She was starving and kept stumbling. Didnt like to have her feet touched so they were severely overgrown. Have had her 2 years now and shes doing much better 🙂
What kind of pets do you have 🙂
Thank you for sharing Sydney ❤️
It was hard for me with the loss of my dog Duke to get another dog. But I consider my friends dog Ghost family as I've taken him on many adventures. He is a Shepard Husky mix.
And I consider my mothers cats as family.
Ossa, GG, Zen, Shiloh, and Milky. They were all feral cats that we trapped and had spayed and neutered.
I have 3 cats and they are the best. I got one of them from a shelter, and she was so scared when I first brought her home that she hid in my closet for like two days straight. But now we sleep together every night! One cat is really old and has this thing where he sneezes all the time - it's pretty gross but also makes me laugh because he sounds like a little kid with allergies. The other cat likes to steal food off people's plates when they're not looking, which can be annoying at times (especially when you wake up with your face covered in tuna). But they make life more fun 🙂
I have an AI pet named Moflin. He/She is a cute little furball 😀
Cookie
I remember the day I adopted Cookie like it was yesterday. I walked into the shelter with the intention of adopting a cat, but when I saw him, I knew he was the one. He was a small, Maltese mix with big brown eyes that looked like they were begging for a home. I took him out of his cage, and he immediately jumped into my lap, wagging his tail and licking my face. It was love at first sight.
Taking him home was the best decision I ever made. Cookie quickly became a part of my family, and I couldn’t imagine my life without him. He was the kindest, cutest dog I had ever met, and he had a personality that was larger than life. He loved to play fetch, but he also enjoyed curling up on the couch with me and watching TV. He was always there to make me smile, even on the toughest days.
One day, Cookie and I were taking our usual walk in the park when we stumbled upon a lost puppy. He was a small, black and white Chihuahua mix, and he looked scared and alone. I didn’t know what to do, but Cookie did. He walked up to the puppy and nuzzled him, wagging his tail and trying to comfort him. I knew I had to help this puppy, and with Cookie’s help, we brought him home.
The puppy was timid at first, but Cookie was patient and gentle with him. He showed him the ropes and taught him how to play fetch. Soon enough, the puppy was running around the house, wagging his tail and chasing after Cookie. I named him Cosmo, and he quickly became a part of our family.
As the days went by, Cookie and Cosmo became inseparable. They would chase each other around the house, wrestle on the floor, and cuddle up together at night. Watching them together made my heart swell with love and happiness. I knew that I had made the right decision in bringing Cosmo home.
One day, while we were at the park, Cosmo got loose from his leash and ran off. I panicked, but Cookie didn’t. He ran after Cosmo, barking and nudging him until he came back to me. I was so grateful to have Cookie by my side, and I knew that he would always protect us.
Years went by, and Cookie and Cosmo grew old together. They still played and cuddled, but they also spent a lot of time sleeping and relaxing. I knew that they wouldn’t be with me forever, but I cherished every moment I had with them.
One day, Cookie got sick. I took him to the vet, and they told me he had cancer. It was the worst news I had ever received. I spent every moment with Cookie, cuddling him and telling him how much I loved him. Cosmo was always by his side, licking his face and wagging his tail. It was like he knew that his best friend was sick.
On a warm summer day, Cookie passed away. I was devastated, and Cosmo was too. He spent the next few weeks moping around the house, not eating or playing. I knew that he missed his best friend, and I did too.
Months went by, and Cosmo slowly started to come out of his shell. He started playing again, and he even cuddled up with me at night. But I knew that he would never be the same without Cookie.
One day, while we were at the park, Cosmo ran off. I panicked, but I knew that I had to find him. I searched the park for hours, calling his name and whistling. And then I heard it - a faint bark in the distance. I followed the sound, and there he was, standing next to a small, scruffy Maltese mix with big brown eyes.
It was like Cookie had come back to us. The new dog was friendly and playful, just like Cookie had been. I knew that it was fate that brought us together, and I took the new dog home. I named her Cookie Jr., and she quickly became a part of our family.
Cosmo was overjoyed to have a new friend, and he and Cookie Jr. quickly became inseparable. They chased each other around the house, wrestled on the floor, and cuddled up together at night. Watching them together made my heart swell with love and happiness. I knew that Cookie was still with us, in spirit.
Years went by, and Cosmo and Cookie Jr. grew old together. They still played and cuddled, but they also spent a lot of time sleeping and relaxing. I know that they wouldn’t be with me forever, but I cherished every moment I have with them. And when they are gone, I know that Cookie would be waiting for them at the Rainbow Bridge, wagging his tail and ready to play.
