I've never understood bragging about eating animals. Like when I post a video about being vegan or going vegan, you always get multiple comments saying..
"But bacon"
"who cares everyone eats meat"
"I'm going to enjoy my steak right now"
I don't see...
1. How you just can have absolutely no empathy
2. Why would you brag that you treat your body like trash?
Even if you don't care about the well-being of the animals, you should at least care about your health and body...
I guess everyone has to learn for themselves. It's just annoying...
I know right!? I share this kind of thing all the time, and people either don't reply or reply with something dumb and careless. These days became more important to show how much you have on your social media story than anything related to human rights, animal cruelty, capitalism, or climate change. Talking about problems and solutions is not cool for many but even though the percentage of careless is higher than the percentage who cares I believe we will be louder at a certain point. And I really want anyone to believe in that.
Like believing in magic, waiting for the sparkles and lights to appear.
