We are going to use dry fruits like figs and walnut and make a nice healthy drink with it. It can be served hot or chilled as per your taste.
Try using fresh milk instead of canned milk that is available in stores.
We need the following ingredients:
Fresh Cow milk 12 oz
Whole Walnuts 1 or 2 (chopped)
Dried figs 2 (chopped)
Saffron two pinches
Sugar for taste
Dilute the milk by adding equal amount of water or as per the taste. As you are going to boil the milk with all the ingredient added to it for about 10 to 15 minutes, it may get too thick.
Bring the diluted milk to a boil in a saucepan. Add the ingredients and boil the milk for another 15 minutes or more. It is important to cook the dry fruits in the milk and allow it to bring flavor to the milk. The color of the milk will change and you can smell the lovely aroma released by the saffron.
Your drink is ready ...Add sugar as per taste!!
