I enjoy tower defense games like the Kingdom Rush series, Plants Vs. Zombies, Bad North, Orcs Must Die series, Fieldrunners 2. I often check out new tower defense games just to see if something is up my alley. They relax me after a long day.

Also like playing shooters from time to time and I've found myself spending many hours in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor lately.

@kenny Just checked out DRG: Survivor and it's the bomb! I've already put in 30 hours in it and it feels I'm just getting started 🙂 so thanks for the recommend, Kenny!

You're welcome, Matthew! Have fun and yes, there's a LOT to do in this game and I wouldn't be surprised if you spend hundreds (or more) of hours and still find things to do in it. I'm over 300 hours in and it's still so fun!

Ooh, you've listed some games I have yet to play but I've heard good things about! I am a huge shooter fan so I religiously play Overwatch 2 and Fortnite. I recently got into High on Life (such a silly game), and I love Coral Island. Coral Island is a farm sim game similar to Stardew Valley and it's really cozy and relaxing overall.

@laurat - What is your take on Overwatch 2 versus 1? I've heard 1 was very good while 2 is not as good? I used to play some Fortnite here and there and I like that they keep updating it which means it will be around for a long time. High on Life looks like such a cool game to get into and play a bit from time to time. Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is my relaxing type game although it might not look like it for some people. I like the idea of Stardew Valley type games but I'm afraid to get into them as they may take over my life hahaha

@kenny Overwatch 2 is fun but no way near as fun as 1 was. I mean O1 was something super special that can't be replicated. The fun I've had with that game is something else. So many memories with friends and sleepless nights…

Yep, I'm a gamer at heart. I like a lot of the games you guys and gals already talked about here. I'm a fan of The Last Of Us 1 and 2 and also the TV series which is Soooo freakin good! I'm now playing TLOU part 2 on PC (It just released a few days ago) and I couldn't help myself although I've already played it a few times. I like a mix of action and a good story and these games have it all.

I also enjoy some shooters like CS: Go, a bit of Overwatch 2 here and there and smaller, indie games that aren’t afraid to innovate and try new things.

@matthew-c What indie games do you play or like, Matthew?

Balatro, Cuphead, Hades, Celeste, UFO 50, Hotline Miami or Outer Wilds come to mind. They're all so special in their own way.

@matthew-c Hotline Miami is such an amazing experience! Haven’t played Outer Wilds but it seems like a real experience from what I can tell - I’ve added it to my wishlist. I’m planning to try Cuphead, Balatro and UFO 50 as well. Thanks, Matthew!

I mostly like shooters like Warhammer 40k: Space Marine (1 and 2), Gears of War (all), some Call of Duty games (not all), most Star Wars games, Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Far Cry series. But I also like playing other types of games from time to time, things like The Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption (1 and 2), GTA series, etc.

Does Candy Crush Saga count? Or Mahjong? Or Solitaire? Or Angry Birds? If yes, then I can be considered a gamer as well 🙂

I play a bit here and there. I absolutely love the whole Uncharted series and Tomb Raider series! Those are some amazing games in my opinion. I also like games that share powerful emotions like Firewatch or The Walking Dead Definitive series. Don’t have as much time to play as I’d like but it’s always nice to do it.
