What’s a book, tool, or practice you’d recommend for self-improvement?

I will always recommend the book The Places That Scare You by Pema Chodron. It is a phenomenal read. Pema is a Buddhist nun and her teachings helped me so much when I was struggling with depression. Even if you aren't a practicing buddhist or familiar with buddhist practices, you can find value in the content. It helps you reconsider your perspective and practice specific principles that lead to a more peaceful, content life.
