I'm looking to expand my library with books I'll actually read. I really struggle with fiction but love non-fiction, especially personal growth or self-help books. Podcasts are also nice for the road or walks! For podcasts, I love comedy mixed with some personal growth!
My all-time favourite personal growth book is The Places That Scare You by Pema Chodron. I'd argue this book contributed to saving my life when I needed it most. Hands down the most important book to me.
If you haven't yet, read Atomic Habits by James Clear. It's one of the best books on building a habit and creating a better life. I've already read it twice and made some notes so I can actually use the knowledge from it. It's a great book.
I've added the book you mentioned to my reading list.
I don't have podcasts to share as I don't listen to them all that much but curios what are some of your favorite ones?

@kenny Oooh, I will look into that book, thank you! As for podcasts, I mostly listen to comedy ones (like Smosh and Two Hot Takes - they are reddit stories). So, I'd be interested in looking into others. Maybe folks here will have some interesting ones we can check out!
Great question Kenny! One of my favorite personal growth books is The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. It really focuses on being present and embracing the moment, which has been life-changing for me. As for podcasts, I really enjoy The Tim Ferriss Show—he interviews a wide range of successful people and dives deep into their habits and routines, which I find really inspiring. What about you? Do you have any favorites?

@ahsanali The Power of Now seems to be a popular one! I have it on my shelf and need to pick it up again. I've only gotten part way through. Widen the Window by Elizabeth A. Stanley is also a great book. It's all about training your brain and body to thrive during stress and to recover from trauma. Very insightful book.

I haven't heard of Widen the Window, but it sounds really interesting! The idea of training the brain and body to handle stress and recover from trauma is so important. I’ll have to check it out!
I enjoy the Mindset Mentor podcast and one of my favorite books is The Power of Now by Eckart Tolle

@natalie77 Ohh, I have The Power of Now but admittedly, I haven't finished reading it. Maybe I should pick it up again! I've heard of the Mindset Mentor podcast, too! I'll check it out, thank you!
