We all have that one piece of wisdom that changed our perspective. What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given, and how has it impacted your life? Share your thoughts and let’s inspire each other.

@ahsanali One of the best pieces of advice I've come across is: "Focus on progress, not perfection." This resonates because striving for perfection can often lead to procrastination, frustration, or burnout. Instead, embracing small, consistent steps toward improvement fosters growth and resilience.

Progress, not perfection - that sounds great, Ali! Even if it's 11 pushups today when you made 10 yesterday, that's still progress and it should make us happy. Small, manageable actions daily or every other day are the way forward.

For me, one of the best pieces of advice I ever received is: Go on your own way even if it may seem strange to others. If it feels great to you, then keep pushing forward.

I always go back to this and remind myself that my way doesn't have to seem appropriate to others, it just has to feel good for me. And I think it's the same for us all. We shouldn't expect others to understand why we do what we do. Some will, many won't. It shouldn't stop us from living, from doing what we love to do.

@kenny That’s such a great perspective! I completely agree with what you said—progress, no matter how small, is still a step forward, and we should celebrate those moments. And your advice about going your own way is really powerful. It’s easy to get caught up in what others think, but as long as we’re staying true to ourselves and it feels right, that's what really matters. Everyone’s journey is different, and it’s okay if others don’t fully understand it. What matters most is that we keep pushing forward in a way that feels fulfilling to us. Thanks for sharing this!
