Looking back through history, one may observe that during the darkest days of difficulty, war, oppression, calamity, the tiniest iota of hope has served as the seed where light would again rise. Crisis is like the struggle the bends the bow of human will. Hope is the arrow. The greater the crisis the greater hope will rise to meet the challenge. It is amazing how in thousands of instances, hope has served to change the course of human history. Hope has given us the strength to change the world into a better place. What is amazing is that hope is not only a character that we can find in humans. In biological history, hope has given the creatures wings to eventually be able to conquer the skies. Hope has given the fish to eventually crawl into land. Hope has given the primate the nobility to become human. In major global catastrophes that brought about extinction on a large scale, such as ice ages, hope has stored all the biological knowledge to bring forth a better creation. Hope has eventually given our bodies to eventually develop anti bodies to transcend the virus that killed millions in plagues. In our times now, hope is what we need to believe in so that the new world will eventually rise amidst the rubbles of this crisis. Hope is love at its best.
