The irony is not only everywhere in our society but within us as well. Look at how we spend our lives earning a living and when we retire we are already too old or too sick to really enjoy life. In our quest for life, life passed us by without our noticing it. Look at how we lose our health to make money, yet when we have the money we spend it to cure our health. Look at how we worry so much about the future that we lose the present. Yet when the future comes in the present, we do not live in it but think of another future because of our insatiable desires. Look at how we try so hard to grow up when we are children and when we are already adults we act like children. Look at how obsessed we are with beauty products to the point that we don’t feel beautiful from the inside out and without these beauty products we feel so ugly. As the saying goes, “We are standing knee-deep in water and we are dying of thirst.”
