The night is dark and it eats me
Takes away my breath as i seek Thee
I need your guidance now to navigate this crazy world
And find my balance as so many questions unfurled
Why am i here and why am i not?
Where does the road end in a dot?
What of the future if my present is shut?
Where do i go from here when i rot?
The mind is too great and too strong
When the body dies will i continue along?
And beauty is so great that i can no longer take it
It tortures my mind no end that i cant beat it.
