The pursuit of love, connection and happiness is something that has been a dream of many since the dawn of time. We are all searching for those moments in life when we feel loved, connected, and content. But sometimes we forget to embrace the imperfections of this pursuit and understand that they are part of their discovery and magic.
While seeking our pursuits, it’s easy to focus on all the things you don’t have or wish for more than what you have. However, by understanding that our imperfections, flaws, and weaknesses are part of who we are–not just as individuals, but in society at large–we can accept them instead. This will then allow us to move forward with a sense of joy in our lives rather than one filled with disappointment or envy.
No one should ever feel ashamed of their imperfections; rather, we should embrace them as part of the journey to discovering the goodness in life. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses and these are what make us unique. For relationships, it’s important to remember that imperfections are part of the magic.
There is a story of two orphans who relied on one another’s kindness. Ahmed, a blind man, was reliant on Samir to act as a guide for him because of his blindness, while Samir depended on Ahmed to carry him because he could not walk. Together, they made life better for one another.
When we learn to accept ourselves for who we are, we find genuine joy in life. The key is self-love. By embracing our individual quirks and flaws, we can discover our own version of contentment and peace. Self-acceptance allows us to open up our hearts so that we can share love with those around us without fear or judgement. And together, through our uniqueness, we thrive!

We say we want love, but actually we want validation.
We say we want love, but actually we want attention.
We say we want love, but actually we just want compliments.
We don’t actually know what love is. We are chasing love through all these other forms of adoration or affection.
What we don’t realize is that imperfections are at the core of love and relationships.
What is stronger than being vulnerable and telling the truth, and admitting your imperfection to the world? Quit chasing perfection within yourself.
You have to understand you have to do hard things in the pursuit of love and happiness.
Pushing myself daily to be a better version of myself.
