Sometimes it is really hard to comprehend reality and the world with all its flair and diversions and distortions. What is real is sometimes the opposite of what you see. In our world of passing shadows, people tend to mask their weaknesses by presenting the opposite. Sometimes the arrogance of people is just to show how much they have been deprived of when they were a child. Sometimes, too much forwardness means that i am just trying to hide my insecurity. Sometimes silence means strength and sometimes not. Antoine de Saint Exupery was really right when he said that “it is only through the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye.” William Saroya also says, “Ignore the obvious, for is unworthy of the clear eye and the kindly heart.” In our fast paced life, sometimes it is hard to be really sensitive and compassionate to the world around us. We are too busy and preoccupied but to really live simply means to breathe, be in the moment, celebrate everything, and remember that we are all one.
