Alderwood Campground is a fantastic free camp spot for those living the van life in Arizona. Located in Prescott National Forest, this campground offers the perfect combination of privacy and seclusion that every adventurer craves. The campground features 15 sites equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, and food storage boxes. While there are no hookups or showers available on site, you won’t be disappointed with the stunning natural beauty that surrounds you. With easy access to hiking trails nearby, you can explore all that Prescott National Forest has to offer from your base camp at Alderwood.
One thing to keep in mind is that this campground is first-come-first-served basis only.
