As the sun sets on this year…. Saying good-by to a long year of despair and sadness. Also saying a HUGE thank-you to the sacrifice and beauty of others-the first responders, Drs, nurses, hospital staff, teachers, firefighters, police, our servicemen and women all around the world, workers in grocery stores, drug stores and any others I forgot who bravely went to their job each day- knowing they were putting themselves at risk- but they went anyway. My heart goes out to all those who are sitting alone tonight- having lost someone this year to Covid or other things…. also those facing so much worry and stress over the possible loss of their business and life savings. Please know you are loved and remembered. I am hopeful that we all can eventually find hope and beauty in even the toughest of times. A big welcome to this New Year, fresh with promise and better days. Let us learn from this year just leaving us to treat each other, and our beautiful planet, with patience, grace, kindness and care. I wish each of you a most splendid New Year, filled with those moments that bring you meaning, happiness, peace, love and calm.
