I don’t think we can be optimistic about the state of world peace yet, but I do believe that we can create a more peaceful society. At the moment, our planet is in a very tense state—everywhere you look there’s violence and abuse, loss and neglect. However, there are things we can all do to bring about positive change. This includes practicing self-compassion because it has been proven to be good for your health and it will help you become more compassionate toward others as well as yourself.
The world is in a very tense state right now.
The world is in a very tense state right now. People are suffering from violence, abuse, loss, being neglected and feeling powerless. The world needs to be healed – so let’s do it!
It’s time for us as individuals to take action towards healing the planet. We can do this by cultivating compassion within ourselves and others so that we may all feel safe and happy together on this beautiful earth we call home. Compassion is a good thing!
People have suffered with violence, abuse, loss, being neglected and feeling powerless.
- Violence, abuse and neglect are forms of violence that have damaged countless lives.
- People have suffered with violence, abuse, loss, being neglected and feeling powerless.
- It is easy to feel powerless when your life has been affected by these things.
To make the world a peaceful place each of us must play our part to affect positive change
You can make a difference. You can help to create a more peaceful world. You can help to make the world a better place. You can help to create a more compassionate world. To do this, you have to remember that your actions have consequences and that you must take responsibility for them in order to bring about positive change.
“Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Mahatma Gandhi
Practice non-violent communication
This compassionate communication style helps people communicate effectively and peacefully.
Practice Stoicism
Stoicism is about living in harmony with the world around us and finding peace within ourselves. It is a compassion centered lifestyle.
Compassion has been proven to be good for your health
Compassion has been proven to be good for your health.
It reduces stress, depression, and anxiety—all of which have been linked to an increased risk of heart disease. It also increases longevity and feelings of happiness. In addition to these benefits, practicing compassion can reduce the risk of heart disease by helping you build stronger relationships with others.
When you learn how to practice self-compassion, it becomes easier to practice compassion toward others.
Self-compassion is a skill that can be learned. It’s not about being self-indulgent; rather, it’s about treating yourself with the same kindness and understanding that you would treat a friend or family member in the same situation. When you learn how to practice self-compassion, it becomes easier to practice compassion toward others—and thus make the world a better place!
With practice, you may be able to use compassion when things get heated during a disagreement with your partner or a family member.
When you feel compassion for someone, you’re able to see their point of view and understand why they are acting the way they are. Compassion can help you be patient with others when they aren’t acting in ways that are easy for you to accept. Even if your loved one or partner isn’t ready to see things from your perspective, practicing compassion will make it easier for you to give them space and wait patiently until they are ready to listen.
People who are compassionate tend to be more successful and more liked by others.
Compassion is the ability to understand the suffering of others and feel their pain. It’s a positive emotion that helps us connect with people, and it makes us human. The more compassionate we are, the more likely it is that we’ll take action when someone needs help.
The opposite of compassion is apathy—the lack of concern for others’ feelings or problems. When people experience too much suffering in their lives, they can become apathetic and stop caring about other people’s well-being because they’re too focused on survival themselves. This can lead to isolation from friends and family members who care about them, as well as distrust toward strangers who try to help them out of kindness but do not understand what those needs are like first-hand (i.e., “How could you possibly know?”).
“We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his nature, so does the attitude of the world change toward him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.”
~ Mahatma Gandhi
Practice small acts of kindness like smiling at strangers and saying thank you often.
Practicing small acts of kindness like smiling at strangers and saying thank you often are great ways to practice compassion.
Be kind to yourself by letting go of negative thoughts, self-talk, and self-criticism.
You’ll be happier if you can be more accepting of yourself.
If there is an argument or disagreement with someone (maybe they cut in front of you in line), instead of attacking them or getting angry at what they did, imagine that they were having a difficult day—and try to put yourself in their shoes. Try to find common ground with your fellow human being: what are some things we have in common? Can we agree on something? This will help diffuse the situation so we don’t get into a confrontation that harms us both in the long run!
How Can We Achieve World Peace?
World peace is a complex and challenging goal, but it is one that is worth striving for. There is no single solution that will guarantee world peace, but there are a number of things that we can do to work towards it.
Here are some ideas:
- Reduce poverty and inequality. Poverty and inequality are major root causes of conflict and violence. By working to create a more just and equitable world, we can reduce the number of people who feel that they have no other choice but to resort to violence.
- Promote education and understanding. Education can help people to develop critical thinking skills and to learn about different cultures and perspectives. This can help to reduce prejudice and discrimination, and to build bridges between different groups of people.
- Strengthen international institutions. International organizations such as the United Nations play an important role in promoting peace and security. By strengthening these institutions and giving them the resources they need, we can make it more difficult for countries to go to war and to violate international law.
- Resolve conflicts peacefully. When conflicts do arise, it is important to seek peaceful solutions. This may involve diplomacy, mediation, or other forms of non-violent conflict resolution.
- Promote human rights and the rule of law. Human rights and the rule of law are essential for building a peaceful and just world. When people’s rights are respected and when the law is applied fairly, there is less likelihood of conflict and violence.
In addition to these general measures, there are also a number of specific things that we can do to promote world peace. For example, we can:
- Support organizations that are working to promote peace and justice.
- Advocate for policies that promote peace, such as arms control and development assistance.
- Educate ourselves and others about the root causes of conflict and violence.
- Challenge prejudice and discrimination in our own lives and in our communities.
- Be kind and compassionate to others, regardless of their background or beliefs.
World peace is a challenging goal, but it is one that is worth striving for. By working together, we can create a more peaceful and just world for ourselves and for future generations.
In a world filled with chaos and conflict, it may seem impossible to achieve true peace. But fear not, dear souls, for there are ways we can work together to create a more harmonious world. Start by spreading love and compassion wherever you go, for kindness truly has the power to heal wounds and mend broken hearts. Embrace diversity and celebrate the unique qualities that make us all beautifully different. Remember that words have power, so choose them wisely and speak with love in your heart. And most importantly, never underestimate the impact of small acts of kindness – for every smile shared, every hand held, and every heart touched brings us one step closer to a world filled with peace and understanding. Keep shining your light, dear ones, and together we can create a world where love reigns supreme.
Final Thoughts
So, what would world peace look like?
Well, it’s simple. It would be a place where everyone has access to clean water and food, shelter, health care, and education. Everyone is safe from violence and abuse. People can live their lives with dignity and respect as they do the things they love without fear of persecution. And to add some Bliss Magic into it…how about the magic of nature, restrooms, showers, a fitness playground with health and wellness activities, a waterfall play area for drum circles, dancing, and workshops teaching people how to thrive in harmony with people, animals, and the planet? Now… that sounds like a Blissful Planet!

What Would World Peace Look Like?
Section 1: Introduction
World peace is a term that is often thrown around but rarely understood. It’s easy to imagine a world without war or conflict, but what would a truly peaceful world look like? As health-minded individuals, we understand the importance of balance and harmony in our bodies, and the same principles apply to our global community. In this blog post, we will explore the characteristics of a world at peace and how we can work towards achieving it.
First, let’s define what we mean by world peace. World peace isn’t just the absence of war or violence, but a state of harmony, cooperation, and mutual respect among all people and nations. It’s a world where every individual lives a fulfilling life free from fear, discrimination, and poverty.
With this definition in mind, let’s dive deeper into what a peaceful world would look like.
Section 2: Equality and Justice
A peaceful world would be one where every person is treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their race, gender, religion, or nationality. In this world, everyone has access to the same opportunities and resources, and justice is served equally for all. There is no discrimination or prejudice, and every person’s human rights are protected.
To achieve this, we need to work towards eliminating systemic biases and inequalities that exist in our societies. This includes addressing issues such as poverty, unequal access to education and healthcare, and discrimination in the workplace and justice system.
Only by striving towards equality and justice for all can we create a truly peacefulious world.
Section 3: Cooperation and Collaboration
In a peaceful world, nations and individuals work together towards common goals and shared interests. There is a spirit of cooperation and collaboration, and conflicts are resolved through dialogue and negotiation, rather than violence and aggression.
To achieve this, we need to promote diplomacy and dialogue, rather than resorting to military action as a first response. We also need to foster a culture of empathy and understanding, where people are willing to different perspectives and work towards finding common goals.
When we work together, we can achieve great things, and create a world that is better for everyone.
Section 4: Environmental Sustainability
A peaceful world is also one that is sustainable, where we live in harmony with the natural world and protect it for future generations. This means taking action to address climate change, reduce our carbon footprint, and protect biodiversity.
As health-minded individuals, we understand the importance of living in a clean and healthy environment. We need to work towards creating a world where everyone has access to clean air, water, and food, and where we prioritize the health of our planet over short-term economic gain.
By working towards environmental sustainability can create a world that is not only peaceful but also healthy and thriving.
Section 5: Education and Empowerment
In a peaceful world, education is a fundamental right, and everyone has access to the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. Education empowers individuals to make informed decisions, contribute to society, and achieve their full potential.
We need to work towards ensuring that every person has access to quality education, regardless of their background or socio-economic status. This includes investing in early childhood education, providing equal opportunities for girls and women, and promoting lifelong learning.
Education is a powerful tool for creating a peaceful world, and we need to prioritize it in our global efforts.
Section 6: Health and Well-being
A peaceful world is one where everyone has access to healthcare and can live a healthy and fulfilling life. This means addressing issues such as disease, malnutrition, and mental health, and promoting healthy lifestyles and preventive care.
As health-minded individuals, we understand the importance of taking care of our bodies and minds. We need to work towards creating a world where everyone has access to the resources and support they need to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
By prioritizing health and well-being, we can create a world that is not only peaceful but also happy and resilient.
Section 7: Innovation and Creativity
A peaceful world is one that values innovation and creativity, and encourages individuals to explore their full potential. This means supporting scientific research, promoting the arts and culture, and fostering an environment of creativity and exploration.
We need to create a world where individuals are encouraged to think outside the box and explore new ideas and possibilities. This can lead to new solutions to global problems and create a more vibrant and dynamic world.
By valuing innovation and creativity, we can create a world that is not only peaceful but also exciting and inspiring.
Section 8: Global Unity and Solidarity
A peaceful world is one where we recognize our shared humanity and work towards the common good. This means promoting a sense of global unity and solidarity, and recognizing that we are all in this together.
We need to work towards creating a world where individuals and nations are willing to help each other in times of need, and where we recognize that our actions have global consequences. This can lead to a more empathetic world, where we prioritize the well-being of others over our own self-interest.
By promoting global unity and solidarity, we can create a world that is not only peaceful but also compassionate and caring.
Section 9: Personal Responsibility and Accountability
A peaceful world is one where individuals take personal responsibility for their actions and are held accountable for their mistakes. This means promoting a culture of honesty and integrity, and recognizing that our actions have consequences.
We need to work towards creating a world where individuals are willing to take responsibility for their actions, and where we hold our leaders and institutions accountable for their decisions. This can lead to a more just and fair world, where everyone is treated equally under the law.
By promoting personal responsibility and accountability, we can create a world that is not only peaceful but also fair and just.
Section 10: Conclusion
In conclusion, a peaceful world is one that is characterized by equality, justice, cooperation, and sustainability. It’s a world where every person has the opportunity to live a fulfilling life free from fear, discrimination, and poverty.
As health-minded individuals, we have a unique role to play in creating this world. By promoting health and well-being, innovation and creativity, and global unity and solidarity, we can work towards a future that is not just peaceful but also healthy, happy, and inspiring.
Let’s work together towards creating a world that is truly at peace.
What would world peace look like? It’s a question that has puzzled philosophers, politicians and everyday people for centuries. Would the skies be bluer? The grass greener? Would everyone hold hands and sing Kumbaya?
Let’s start with the basics: world peace means all nations unite as one. That means no more wars, no more fighting over resources or land, and definitely no more petty arguments on Twitter. Can you imagine it? The entire planet working together to solve problems instead of creating them.
But it doesn’t stop there! World peace also means an end to poverty, hunger and disease. Think about it – with all nations working together towards a common goal, we can eradicate these issues once and for all. And who knows what kind of innovations we’ll come up with when everyone is focused on making the world a better place!
What would world peace look like? Well, let’s picture it! Imagine a world where animals are cared for and not exploited. In a peaceful world, we all come together as one big family. No more fighting over borders or resources – we share everything equally. Our homes are filled with love and laughter, and there’s no such thing as poverty or hunger. We all have access to education, healthcare, and clean water. Let’s consider the planet itself. In a peaceful world, Mother Nature is thriving! The air is pure and fresh – you can take deep breaths without coughing up pollution.
In a peaceful world everyone is happy – even the bees are buzzing with joy! They fly from flower to flower, pollinating without a care in the world.
World peace is something that we all dream of, but it can seem like an impossible goal at times. However, achieving world peace doesn’t have to be a daunting task – it starts with small acts of kindness and compassion. We can all do our part to help bring about a more peaceful world by treating others with respect and love.
One way to show kindness and compassion is by choosing to live a vegan lifestyle. By adopting a plant-based diet, we can reduce the amount of violence and harm inflicted upon animals. This compassionate choice also has positive effects on the environment, as animal agriculture is a leading cause of deforestation and pollution.
In addition to making ethical food choices, we can also cultivate empathy towards other human beings. This means actively listening to those who are different from us and being open-minded about their experiences.
There are many things that we can do to help bring peace to the world. Here are a few ideas:
Educate ourselves about conflict and peacebuilding. The more we know about the causes of conflict and the ways to build peace, the better equipped we will be to make a difference.
Get involved in our communities. We can make a difference by getting involved in our communities and working to build relationships between people of different backgrounds.
Support organizations that are working for peace. There are many organizations working to bring peace to the world. We can support these organizations by donating money, volunteering our time, or spreading awareness about their work.
Speak out against violence and injustice. We can all play a role in creating a more peaceful world by speaking out against violence and injustice when we see it.
Be kind and compassionate to others. Kindness and compassion are essential ingredients for peace. We can all make a difference by being kind and compassionate to others, even those who are different from us.
By taking these steps, we can all help to create a more peaceful world.
Here are some additional things that we can do to help bring peace to the world:
Pray for peace. Prayer can be a powerful force for good in the world. When we pray for peace, we are asking God to help us to overcome the challenges that we face and to build a more peaceful world.
Have hope. It may seem like a daunting task to bring peace to the world, but it is possible. If we all work together and have hope, we can make a difference.
World Peace through Peaceful CoExisting
At a time when contention and division seem to be the norm, it’s more important than ever to find ways to coexist peacefully. In fact, it’s often through our differences that we learn the most and see the world from new perspectives.
To coexist, we must start with empathy and understanding. Take the time to listen to others and learn about their backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences. We don’t have to agree on everything, but we can respect and value each other’s opinions. Recognize that diversity is the spice of life, and our differences should be celebrated rather than feared. When we choose to coexist peacefully, we create a world that’s inclusive, kinder, and more enriching. We can make a difference by choosing to spread love and positivity rather than hate and negativity. The more we focus on what unites us rather than what divides us, the more we can work together to build bridges and foster a sense of community. In order to coexist, we must also be willing to approach conflicts with an open mind and a willingness to compromise. When we feel frustrated or angry, it can be all too easy to let our emotions get the best of us. However, by taking a step back and focusing on finding common ground, we can work towards peaceful resolutions that benefit everyone involved.
In short, coexisting means being open to new ideas, respecting others’ viewpoints, and choosing to embrace diversity rather than fear it. So let’s strive to coexist peacefully, and build a brighter, more harmonious future for all. Imagine a world where wars, conflicts, violence, and terrorism no longer exist. A world where people from different cultures and backgrounds come together in harmony and respect each other’s differences. World peace is not an impossible dream, but it requires a collective effort to make it a reality. It would look like a place where every individual’s basic needs are met, and everyone has access to education, healthcare, and equal opportunities. It would be a society where justice prevails, and human rights are respected. Imagine a world where people communicate with empathy, compassion, and understanding, where every conflict is resolved through peaceful negotiations, and disagreements are handled with respect and compromise.
In a world of peace, people would learn to appreciate diversity, and differences would no longer be a source of conflict. Everyone would have the freedom to express themselves without fear of judgment or discrimination. There would be no oppression, and every individual would have the chance to reach their full potential. Neighbors would help each other, communities would work as one regardless of race or religion.
Alongside this, conflicts that arise from territory disputes, resource allocation, and ideological difference will be peacefully resolved using diplomacy and compromise.
Humanity as a whole will realize the importance of collective responsibility when it comes to the protection of the environment and preservation of natural resources. Every living being would be recognized as an integral part of the ecosystem, and efforts will be made to ensure sustainable development.
People will no longer be marked by divisions or social hierarchies, allowing everyone to pool their strengths together and work together towards a common goal. Together, different individuals and societies will work as one to build a brighter future for coming generations. In a world of peace, we will finally find meaning and purpose in life, knowing that we are part of something bigger than ourselves. Every person will have a sense of belonging, and every child will be raised in an environment of love and nurturing, ensuring they grow to be responsible and caring global citizens.
World peace is not a far-fetched ideal. But we all need to take personal responsibility to make it happen. It won’t happen overnight, but every small act of kindness, empathy, and compassion can make a world of difference. Let us all come together as one, to promote and protect peace in our own little way. Let’s believe in ourselves, in our communities, and in humanity as a whole to achieve a world of peace.
1. The End of Conflict:
The world is a big place, and there are always going to be differences between people. That’s just human nature. But that doesn’t mean we can’t strive for a world where conflict is a thing of the past.
2. A World Without Borders:
Imagine a world where people can move freely between countries, without the need for passports or visas. A world where there are no walls or barbed wire, and everyone is free to travel wherever they want.
3. A World United:
Imagine a world where all nations are united, and working together for the common good. A world where there is no division, and everyone is working towards a brighter future.
4. A World of Prosperity:
Imagine a world where everyone has the opportunity to prosper. A world where there is no poverty, and everyone has the chance to live a good life.
5. A World of Equality:
Imagine a world where everyone is treated equally, regardless of race, gender, or religion. A world where everyone has the same opportunities, and no one is discriminated against.
6. A World of Love:
Imagine a world where love is the most important thing. A world where people are kind to each other, and no one goes without love.
World peace is important for all life on planet Earth because it ensures that all living beings can live and thrive in harmony. When there is peace, there is less violence, less poverty, and less environmental degradation. This creates a more sustainable environment for all life to flourish.
There are many benefits to world peace. For example, when there is peace, there is less violence. This means that people are less likely to be killed or injured in wars or conflicts. Additionally, when there is peace, there is less poverty. This means that people are more likely to have access to food, water, shelter, and education. Finally, when there is peace, there is less environmental degradation. This means that the environment is less likely to be polluted or destroyed.
There are many ways to promote world peace. One way is to educate people about the importance of peace and to encourage them to make choices that support it. Another way is to support organizations that are working to promote peace. Finally, we can all do our part to live peacefully and respectfully with others.
By promoting world peace, we can create a more sustainable future for all life on Earth. We can ensure that all living beings have the resources they need to survive and thrive. We can also help to protect the environment and make it a more livable place for all.
Here are some specific examples of how world peace can benefit the environment:
By promoting world peace, we can help to create a more sustainable future for the planet. We can ensure that all living beings have the resources they need to survive and thrive. We can also help to protect the environment and make it a more livable place for all.
Dear reader,
In a world full of conflicts and tensions, the need for peace has never been more apparent. World peace is crucial for humanity to prosper as it ensures social stability, economic growth and political progress. Without it, we are left with a state of constant fear and uncertainty that hinders our ability to thrive.
One of the main reasons why world peace is vital for humanity to prosper is because it promotes social stability. When there’s a lack of violence and conflict in society, people feel safe enough to invest in their communities, businesses and personal growth. This creates a positive cycle where individuals become more productive members of society which leads to economic growth and development.
Moreover, world peace also ensures political progress by creating an environment where leaders can focus on long-term goals rather than short term crises.
Picture this: a world where conflicts are resolved through dialogue and negotiation instead of violence. A world where nations work together to find common ground, sharing resources and knowledge for the benefit of all. Imagine streets bustling with people from diverse cultures, embracing their differences and celebrating diversity. In this world, borders become symbols of unity rather than division, as countries collaborate on global issues such as poverty alleviation and environmental sustainability.
World peace would mean an end to the devastating impact of wars on individuals and communities. No more lives lost or families torn apart by conflict. Instead, children grow up in a safe environment free from fear and violence, allowing them to flourish intellectually and emotionally. With peace comes stability, leading to increased opportunities for education and economic growth for all. It is a world where everyone has access to basic needs such as clean water, healthcare, and food security.
Imagine a world where respect for human rights is universal, regardless of race, gender identity or sexual orientation. Discrimination becomes obsolete in the face of acceptance and understanding between people from all walks of life. Indeed, world peace means living in harmony with both our fellow humans as well as the natural environment that sustains us.
In this ideal version of our planet Earth, conflicts are seen not as signs of weakness but opportunities for growth; misunderstandings are resolved through open dialogue rather than escalating into aggression. Cooperation becomes the norm rather than competition because we recognize that we are stronger when we stand together united by our shared humanity.
In our quest for world peace, intentional community eco villages light the path towards a brighter future. These communities are built upon the foundation of conscious living and interconnectedness with our environment. By embracing sustainable practices such as permaculture, organic farming, and renewable energy sources, eco villages show us that we can create harmony between humanity and nature.
But perhaps even more powerful than their environmental impact is the profound sense of compassion that thrives within these intentional communities. Living in close proximity allows individuals to deeply understand one another’s joys and struggles, fostering a spirit of empathy and support. This compassionate connection ripples outwards into the wider world as members of these communities actively engage in outreach programs, promoting peacebuilding initiatives, education, and social justice causes.
In a world plagued by division and conflict, conscious community eco villages offer us a fresh perspective on how we can pave the way towards lasting peace. They serve as living testaments to the transformative power of compassion and sustainable living – reminding us that by coming together with shared values, we have the ability to shape a better future for ourselves and generations to come.
world peace, a vision that holds immense beauty and hope. While the exact manifestation of world peace may vary in the minds of individuals, it generally entails a state of harmony, understanding, and cooperation among nations and peoples.
In a world of peace, conflicts and violence would be replaced by dialogue, diplomacy, and nonviolent resolutions. Nations would come together to address global challenges, working collaboratively to find solutions that benefit all of humanity. Trust and mutual respect would form the foundation of international relations, fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility.
World peace would also mean the absence of discrimination, prejudice, and inequality. People from all walks of life would be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their race, religion, gender, or any other characteristic. Cultural diversity would be celebrated, and individuals would have the freedom to express themselves without fear of persecution or oppression.
Additionally, a world at peace would prioritize the well-being of both humans and the environment. Sustainable practices would be embraced, ensuring the preservation of our planet for future generations. Resources would be shared equitably, and efforts would be made to address issues such as poverty, hunger, and lack of access to education and healthcare.
While the concept of world peace may seem idealistic, it is a vision worth striving for. It requires the collective efforts of individuals, communities, and nations to promote understanding, empathy, and compassion. By embracing the values of peace and working towards resolving conflicts peacefully, we can create a world where all people can live in harmony and prosperity.
Hmm, I hope this paints a picture of what world peace could look like. However, it’s important to acknowledge that achieving world peace is a complex and ongoing process.
To Everyone at Blissful Planet:
Hi! My name is Marty Schirn. I found your website by googling: I want world peace. What came up was a link to a series of excellent articles entitled: “What would world peace look like?”
I feel moved to share with you my own answer to this very important question.
You are free to agree or disagree as you wish.
Are you familiar with the Fuji Declaration that began in 2015?
The next three paragraphs are from their website: https://fujideclaration.org/
It’s an international alliance committed to living and collaborating toward the advancement of a more harmonious and flourishing world.
The Declaration calls upon everyone to ignite the full potential and Divine spark that dwells within each human being, and reminds us that we are part of a living universe that exhibits boundless diversity, and yet embraces oneness. It calls on us to co-evolve with one another and with nature in a constructive and coherent relationship.
Over 60 partner organizations and 200 founding signatories have joined this relatively new initiative, including heads-of-state, Nobel laureates, scientists, artists, authors, educators, and peace advocates.
The following prophetic words open the Fuji Declaration:
“A new phase in the evolution of human civilization is on the horizon. With deepening states of crisis bringing unrest to all parts of the world, there is a growing need for change in our ways of thinking and acting. We now have the choice of either spiraling into deepening peril, or breaking through to a world of dignity and wellbeing for all.”
What I’m going to share with you is a VERY RADICAL “change in our ways of thinking and acting.”
As I see it, there are three vital prerequisites for establishing a SOLID FOUNDATION for permanent world peace through world unity. Unless and until ALL the peoples of the world totally accept these three prerequisites, disunity and violence will become immeasurably worse.
Establishing world peace is the responsibility of all of humanity, and to achieve this requires the abandonment of every kind of prejudice that allows people to consider themselves superior.
For the three prerequisites to be effective and for us to become true WORLD CITIZENS, there must be a TOTAL SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION of the entire human race.
For inclusiveness to be widened, the wellbeing of any part of society must be intrinsically linked to the wellbeing of the whole.
For unity to occur, justice must be undeviating and universal; love must be unconditional.
1. There is only one Creator, though He has been called different Names throughout history such as Brahma, Ahura Mazda, Adonai, Father, Allah, Great Spirit, God.
2. Humanity is one family. There is only ONE race — the Human Race. We are all one human species, one beautiful human flower garden. As different as we are, we are all equal and the same: we all have the same human bodies, the same human emotions, the same human needs and aspirations, the same human dignity, the same God-given human rights. Our diversity is to be valued and appreciated, not condemned and destroyed.
Although celebrating diversity and advocating co-existence are important, a shared identity based on the principle of the oneness of humanity is essential for lasting progress.
Moreover, for humanity to thrive, women must be given equal rights with men. The equality of women and men is not merely a goal to be achieved, but a truth about human nature to be acknowledged and embraced. Women not only DESERVE equal rights, but the entire human race is being held back by women not being given equal rights.
3. Logically, one Creator can have only one religion. He is not in competition with Himself.
However, I believe God, out of His infinite love for humanity, has revealed His one religion not once, but MANY times throughout history. God’s Messengers have been the Founders of the major world religions: Abraham, Krishna, Moses, Zoroaster, Buddha, Christ, and Muhammad.
Hence I believe ALL the major world religions are Divine in origin, one in essence, equally true, equally important, equally valid, and all part of ONE progressive Divine process.
As I see it, a universal loving Creator does not play favorites by elevating one religion above all the others, but rather out of His infinite love for humanity He has always revealed His Will throughout history.
God, through His Messengers, has ADAPTED His one religion to meet the needs of each age in which it has been revealed. Each age has had different social conditions and requirements. The major world religions are like equal chapters of one book. If a chapter were missing, the book would be incomplete.
I believe religion must agree with science and reason. As there is only one Creator, spiritual truth cannot conflict with scientific truth. If religion goes against science and reason, the religion degenerates into superstition. And science without religion leads to materialism.
Before I discovered this universal view of religion, I was obsessed with a profound question:
Why does one God have so many religions?
a) With so many religions and denominations claiming to be God’s one true religion, this made no sense to me. I felt it was an illogical contradiction.
b) Furthermore, I realized that usually a person’s religion is determined by the country where they are born and how they are raised by their parents. Often they are then taught that their religion is true and all others are false. They blindly accept this without question. This too made no sense to me.
I felt the universal view of religion I just described was a totally logical answer to my question.
Admittedly, this is extremely challenging! This universal view goes against the current disjointed view of religion.
How are the followers of the major world religions ever going to come together in lasting peace, true unity, and genuine love if they harbor in their hearts the belief that their religion is true and all others are false, that they are right and everyone else is wrong, that they are saved and everyone else is going to hell?
For thousands of years this narrow view of religion has failed to bring people together. On the contrary, it has created destructive barriers resulting in disunity, self-righteousness, hatred, prejudice, fear, fanaticism, and wars fought in the name of religion.
I believe that permanent SPIRITUAL world peace through world unity is INEVITABLE! But how much suffering we must go through in order to reach this most glorious achievement is up to the human race.
My beliefs come from the universal teachings of Baha’u’llah (1817-1892), Founder of the youngest of the major world religions, the Baha’i Faith.
The three prerequisites I’ve shared with you — the oneness of God, the oneness of humanity, the oneness of religion — are the three principles taught by Baha’u’llah to be a SOLID FOUNDATION for bringing about lasting world peace through world unity.
“The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens.” — Baha’u’llah
Thank you for letting me share this with you. Keep up the GREAT work you are doing!
God bless the Human Race, All Living Creatures and Vegetation, and Planet Earth! I’m proud to be a World Citizen!
Warmly,

I believe there are two simultaneous processes occurring on our planet. Each affects the other.
