Any garden is made better with the addition of a birdhouse. This infographic from Capital Garden Services takes you through everything you need to know about building a birdhouse and attracting birds to your garden.

An important thing to remember is that if you are building a birdhouse, ensure to build one that will last. Using things like untreated wood and galvanized screws really do make all the difference. The aim of your home is to keep you dry, so any good birdhouse should always keep birds warm and comfortable.

Also, keep in mind that birdhouses can attract predators if placed in a precarious position. Don’t have a perch as sometimes this can make it easy for predators to gain entry.

If you don’t want to build an entire birdhouse but are looking for ways to just attract birds to your garden, the infographic also offers some helpful tips. Check it out for more information.
