The Perpetual Journey To Bliss

Anyone would describe me as a person who most often lives
in joy and sees the remarkable aspects of life even within those
events which seem less than remarkable. Yet, I find myself
sitting in a puddle of tears trying to see the humor in writing an
article on bliss in the midst of what may be a small breakdown
of sorts. I rarely find myself down and out, and I proudly boast
an attitude of optimism and confidence in the grand scheme of
things. It is troubling to me to have fallen so harshly off my
throne of bliss. I go so far as to question my position within the
path of life and my potential awakening. And then it hits me! We
all can become so consumed with achieving a happy state and
exerting effort to perpetually suspend ourselves there. Maybe
we even believe some chosen and lucky few enlightened beings
never experience any other state than euphoria. As we
